I am so excited to take on the role of Jo March in a *brand new* *all female* adaptation of the classic novel, LITTLE WOMEN. This is my first main stage show with Hedgepig Ensemble Theatre and it is my immense joy to join my friends and fellow artists onstage. You can read a review below!

ROMEO AND JULIET
I had the honor to play Juliet for the first time with Rude Grooms this summer, a collaborative classical company based in Queens.
"Several members of the cast were particularly memorable. Among these was Rachel Schmeling, who displayed an inner strength and emotional intensity as Juliet transitioned from innocence to adulthood"

An epic pop musical based on the true story of America’s first congresswoman, JEANNETTE electrifies history of suffrage activist, social worker, and Montanan Jeannette Rankin. Elected to U.S. Congress in 1916 — three years before women are granted the right to vote — Jeannette finds herself the only female voice within the halls of power to vote on women’s suffrage. Written by America's most produced playwright Lauren M. Gunderson and pop sensation Ari Ayesha Afsar, JEANNETTE heralds one person’s radical voice in America’s ongoing journey toward equal rights for all.
BLUE VENUS and BLUE MAYBE
In January 2019, Rachel is filming the short BLUE VENUS at Rhode Island School of Design.
In February 2019, Rachel will premiere BLUE MAYBE in Lancaster, PA with Honey Dipped Girls Productions. She is stoked to be involved with the regional premiere of this special play by Helen Huettner.
In summer 2018, I signed with Bella Agency as a part of their lifestyle commercial/print division. I am stoked to build this relationship and (fingers crossed!) book a national commercial soon. Contact info for commercial inquiries is below:
